NGK Spark Plug Co., Ltd.  was established in the city of Nagoya, Japan on October 16 1936, in order to manage the manufacturing and commercialization of spark plugs, and other products related with internal combustion engines for the purpose of venturing into the production and marketing of ceramics..

 

NGK/NTK is a leading manufacturer of spark plugs, spark plug caps, glow plugs and oxygen sensors. As a world leading OE supplier to the major car manufacturers we are committed to providing components designed to meet their specific requirements. As a result NGK/NTK is often consulted at the initial stages of the engine design process, with our designers and engineers working alongside the manufacturers own development teams. Each and every product manufactured by NGK is designed to meet the most rigorous standards, thereby delivering reliability and consistent performance under all conditions.

NGK México was officially established on July 17 1992, as a subsidiary of NGK Spark Plug Co. Ltd Japan. The purpose was to establish and develop a market in Mexico and Central America for Spark plugs and ceramic products following the same international strategy..
